Kitchen Remodel (Part 3)

And now to finish pretty much where we have since left off of the kitchen. I have yet to take FINAL pictures since some trim still needs to go up and some minor but important details have yet to be done.

But, I LOVE my new kitchen! I love the new set up with the opening that connects the kitchen to the rest of the house. And I LOVE my dishwasher! The kitchen is not the mess it once was =)

The stain

I think this was after the waterproof sealer. We did put down a bunch more layers.

The boys are back! It was nine days total that they were gone, and we still weren't fully finished when they got back. My brother Obi, and his wife, Emily, helped us with the painting the walls and sealing the counter tops and a bunch of other things that were left.

And this is what happens when you spill plumbing primer on the floor...it eats it up. O.o SOOOoooooo....now there is a project going on in the bathroom too. We have a new floor down already, which obviously needed to be done ASAP. We will be getting a new toilet hopefully today, and then we are going to redo the walls. We tried painting the tile, but decided to do something else. That will be another post :) 

OH...thought I should repost the original look when we moved in...

...well except for this...

The end for now :) One child up from his nap...and got to start dinner. Can't wait for the new baby to be here. Due date this Saturday...though I'm planning on it coming and going and still no baby. This little boy, Ben was due the 11th and didn't arrive till the 21st. =P
