Catching up!

I know I haven't posted in forEVER! I haven't just forgotten. I have had my mind on other things: boys, husband, house, boys' birthday party...life =) I have even been pretty bad at taking pictures lately, but I do have some, no worries!


Tonight, I am having a hard time finding my sleepiness. I think that my 45 minute nap did it for me. Reason why I hardly ever nap! I hate ruining my night. But, sometimes, it's hard not to nap.

So, what's new, what's new...

Well, something new is that we are living on a budget :) Yep! We wrote down how much we are to spend on "stuff" weekly and it's been going real well. Last week we were cutting it close, but looks like we made it. Being on a budget makes one have to prioritize and not just get things we think we need. Isaac and I are really enjoying this budget thing because we are running out of money between paychecks anymore and we are saving more...and we just feel a lot more in control of out expenses. We don't feel we are wasting as much as we were when we were like, I dunno, we have money in the checking so we can go shopping...today, tomorrow, the next day...OH! we are almost out of money! Can we survive the next 7 days til pay day? XD

Yes, this happened often. I was out of service for quite a while there (concerning the brain and thinking). Now that I'm back and sat down wrote a budget and we are sticking to it, it's so much smoother life between paychecks and, you know, we are happier! No more sudden, "oh no....we're out of money!"

So that is  new development. =)

We tried potty training Wade. It seemed to go well at first and then we had one very bad day and I gave up. He is REALLY wanting to wear underwear though. He finds his little tighties and says "unwear?" holding it up for us to see. Wade is tired of his diaper and peeing and pooping on himself. In a way, I'm hoping he gets really disgusted and when we try again he will be very very ready to NOT poop in his underwear. That was the biggest problem we had. He wouldn't say when he had to go #2 =p And, I'm not a fan of poop (are you?) and cleaning poop (anyone?) and the smell... Plus, even though Ben is a dream child, he is still a child and needs attention and time and I wasn't ready to potty train and watch a baby.

I found this "method" that some lady that owns(ed) a day care came up with. I think I'm going to try buy the CD's and try it. Once I do, I shall report my success/failure story! :)

Ben is growing so much, but he doesn't walk yet. I thought he'd be walking by now! He crawled by 8 months...I thought two months he'll be walking. Nope! He can do it though, but I think he is very content crawling around. I'll stand him up and he can balance all by himself. As soon as he realizes though that he is standing he'll smile and slowly lower himself down and crawl away. I'll try to help walk as I hold him up, but he refuses to walk assisted.

I think I have a very content crawling child! hahaha! Curiosity will catch up with him, and he'll want to figure it out himself one of these days :)

At my mom and dad's a few weekends ago...Henry you were there but I don't know where you were exactly, napping, me thinks. I'm so sorry we didn't get any pictures with you while you were down O.o We realized that afterwards.

I'm looking forward to church tomorrow. I am very greatful for the place God has placed us. I'm always looking forward to church come the weekend and Wednesday. Every time we tell Wade, "come, Wade, we are going byebye" he says, " oh, Church!" XD I think he likes it too!!!

The living room looks a little different now. We got rid of the coffee table and I'm loving the space!
