Tim and Emily are Married! (3/30/2013)

So I'm skipping ahead of myself and making a post about last weekends wedding ^.^ It was SO beautiful! SO springy...ahhhh! God blessed them with such a beautiful Florida spring day, sunny, fresh, and warm warm sun. I love Florida and I love outdoors rustic weddings. :)

They were both so adorable! Jedediah did very well. He walked the whole way. There were a few moments he hesitated but he made it :)

 It was a wonderful ceremony. I loved that the two grandpas got to marry them. They both had beautiful words of wisdom for the new couple and also for those of us already married. I love weddings. It reminds us all over again of our vows and of God.

...oh and it was kinda weird seeing Emily here in Florida :) Yay for the Florida population growing with awesome people!

We had a great weekend! It was a long weekend =P We started out Friday morning went up to the Ocala forest area and looked and bought a 3 acre lot. It is full of mature pines that were planted 25 years ago. It is an investment right now. We plan to clean it out and make it nice. WE have 2-3 years to work on it. After Isaac gets out of the Coast Guard, Lord willing, we will, if God opens the doors, move up there and build a house on the lot. Otherwise, it will be a great lot to resale later on. 

From there, we headed to Mims to the Stone's place. Isaac helped around with the last minute details for the wedding. All the electrical work he did on the place a month ago worked great. We were so glad it all turned out wonderfully:) 

Then Saturday was the wedding. It reminded me so much of our wedding! It made me happy =) There is something so special about these weddings, when you know that the white dress the bride wears, represents her well. That she is pure and that God is being glorified in the marriage. There is a joy and happiness that is of God. The testimony that Tim and Emily are to the world is something many people don't have and it is a great tool of witness. Isaac has found that having waited, even waited to kiss until we were married, is one thing that baffles those around him and it's something that, no matter what others think of him and God, glorifies God and gives testimony of Him to the world. 

I haven't posted my brother's wedding here yet...my bad! I have the pictures in another computer and I haven't moved them to the one I'm using now. But, Obi and his Emily's wedding was the same in that one thing: the purity and the joy of the marriage of a man and a woman that honored God and each other by obeying God's word and seeking to glorify Him with every single aspect of their life. It's something that starts before marriage, even before one meets one's future mate. Isaac and I, having also done the same, share that joy that one only knows if one has sown and lived to reap it. 

These weddings I have been a part of recently give me hope! God has always had and will always have people that seek Him first and above anyone and anything. And His name will be glorified and His will done on earth as it is in heaven. I have hope that as Isaac and I raise our children and teach them these things, they will have not only us as living examples, but a good group of other couples, so that they too will be encouraged to live to serve God and glorify Him in everything.

Well, I made a boo boo and I didn't even think of  asking someone to take a picture of all of the four of us =p beeeeehhhh! So there is non here. XD I must needs go now and start dinner before Wade wakes up. Ben is roaming around in his walker. Funny guy! 

I have so enjoyed writing this post and the encouragement and joy of this past weekend. So I leave now with a smile
