Making Progress ( slowly)

We are making progress in getting organized...slowly :) This post will be mostly pictures ( I think XD) of how the house is looking...

This picture of a very dirty Isaac was a few weeks ago the day we made a spot for our washer and dryer by using part of the dining area. ( Thanks again to the Stone family for all the help that day!) Isaac was crawling under the house all day ( it seemed). He was SO filthy! And the whole house was too. It's been cleaned up now =) but it took a lot to get all that fine dirt of the floors. It seemed to never go away. 

 

After his bath :) 

 This was the hole in the wall that Isaac did getting the water up into the house. This house (built in 1946) didn't have a laundry area. Well...it used to be right next to the stove O.o

 

Here is what Isaac did to cover that hole! Isn't it cute? :) I haven't finished putting stuff in it. Isaac is going to make doors for the bottom wider shelves.

 

 And since we are in the kitchen here is the kitchen before....

 Once primed

 And now :) I like! I have yet to make curtains to cover the bottom cabinets. The top I plan to leave open though the things that are up there I'll probably change so it will look less cluttered.

 

I had to show my new little kitchen timer =D 

I found a curtain for the door :) We had an ugly green throw covering the window. This looks MUCH better!

This is the porch area, by the way...It's still a little messy...but it's looking better :) So I'm showing the nice parts XD

Day bed turned into sofa! I'm collecting lots of cushions to make the bed more like a sofa. It's going to look real nice once I'm done. ( but I lost my sewing machine foot pedal =( I don't know where it was put during the move...meh!) 

Living room :) Yea you can see there are still little things here and there that don't belong here and there...Organizing/decorating ( my job!) goes slow around here...

...and it's all HIS fault!!! ^_^ Wade has a pretty busy life...busy keeping me ( and Dada) busy! He figure's how to do it XD

One of these days I'll post pictures of a very tidy house finally fully decorated ( I HOPE!) I never hold stubborn to my plans...because so far they haven't happened...well, not the way I planned XD BUT! I hope at least to have a tidy house one day....maybe =) ( I used to have one BC WADE!!!!) I love my home and family and I would rather have a happy messy home than a depressed tidy one anyways :)
